Private by design

Your dog's whole life stays on your iPhone

Their memories, health, and photos never touch a third-party server — ever. No advertiser, no analytics, not even the developer can see your data. Back everything up to your own iCloud Drive, sealed with a password only you know. Pawprints cannot recover it, and neither can anyone else. That is what private really means.

Questions, answered

Do I need an account to use Pawprints?

No. There's no sign-up and no login — open the app and create your dog's profile in about a minute. Everything lives on your iPhone.

Where is my data stored?

Entirely on your device. Pawprints has no server and no analytics. Optional backups are written to your own iCloud Drive, encrypted with a password only you know.

Is it really free?

Yes — every feature, for everyone, with no paywall. Optional one-time tips are the only purchases, and they unlock nothing because nothing is locked.

Can I share records with my vet?

Yes. Export a clean PDF care report — filtered by date range and entry type — that you can share or print. Your vet's location also opens in Apple Maps.

What devices are supported?

iPhone running iOS 17 or later. iPad is not supported in version 1.

What happens to my backup if I lose my password?

It cannot be recovered — by you, by Pawprints, or by anyone. The backup is sealed with your password and there is no back door. Keep it somewhere safe.
